Walka z cenzurą w stanie wojennym polegała m.in. na zasugerowaniu widzowi pewnych idei lub pojęć, które nie były dostatecznie konkretne, aby cenzor mógł je skreślić, a widz odczytywał je adekwatnie. Bo przecież nad rzeką jest przyjemnie. Jaką rzeką? I jak przyjemnie? Ciemne okulary to oczywiście portret Jaruzelskiego.
